A native of Atlanta, Georgia, William A. Glisson (“Billy”) has been active in the commercial real estate industry since 2005. In his role, Billy is responsible for sourcing investment opportunities and monitoring the development and preservation of Hallmark’s multi-family portfolio located throughout the southeastern United States. Since joining Hallmark in 2009, Billy has successfully rehabilitated and preserved approximately 2,500 high quality rental units with the use of 4% and 9% low-income housing tax credit (“LIHTC”) equity, Section 1602 Funds (“TCAP”), multi-family housing preservation and revitalization (“MPR”) loans, USDA Rural Development 515/538 financing and tax-exempt bonds with an overall combined total development cost of approximately $150 million.  Also, since that time Billy has worked on the acquisition and disposition of approximately 7,500 multi-family units. He also concentrates on working with apartment brokers, lenders, syndicators, and investment partners to form strategic relationships within the industry.

Prior to joining Hallmark, Billy worked as a Land Acquisition Associate for the luxury apartment development company Davis Development. While at Davis Development Billy located and helped acquire the site in the Emory Morningside neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia for which The M Apartments was built.

Billy earned a BBA in Real Estate from University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business in 2005 and his MBA in Real Estate and Finance from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School in 2009. Billy currently lives the Garden Hills neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia and enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with his dog in his free time.
