Holly Gregory, current President of Nevada CARH wears many hats. She is the President of Weststates Property Management Company and, along with her husband Jim Gregory, Co-Owner of G & T Construction and Gregory Development Group, as well as a General Partner in many affordable housing projects that leverage funds from several different programs. Holly has been in involved in the Affordable Housing Arena for over 25 years being instrumental within the state regarding the use of LIHTC for acquisition and rehabilitation of existing projects. She is an accomplished speaker and a capable negotiator with a unique ability to multi-task and delegate; talents which are instrumental in the success that she enjoys in not only her professional but personal life as well. Ruby View Quarter Horses is another of her ventures where she enjoys breeding Quarter Horses of substantial quality for the cutting horse industry. Holly has been past president of two National Soroptimist organizations. As an original organizer and volunteer for Special Olympics, she was recognized as a National Volunteer of the Year. She enjoys time at home with her husband, many horses, and Australian Shepherds.

  • Previous Month's Credits

    The IRS publishes monthly credit percentages that apply to low-income housing tax credit buildings placed in service that month.  There are two rates:  the 70% present value credit (PVC) and the 30% present value credit.  The maximum 70% rate is available for low-income new construction and substantial rehabilitation expendiretures that are not federally subsidized.  The maximum 30% rate applies to acquisition expenditures and to federally subsidized low-income new construction or substantial rehabilitation expenditures.

    *Note: The Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008 provides for a flat minimum percentage of 9% for the 70% present value housing credit for projects placed in service after July 30, 2008.
