CARH Board of Directors Vacancies – Questionnaire for Candidates Deadline Friday, May 16

Serving on CARH's Board of Directors is an excellent opportunity to serve the organization and impart direct influence on the affordable rural housing industry. This summer, three directors' terms are coming to a conclusion and CARH is seeking members to fill these vacant positions.

CARH members interested in serving on the board should submit a completed Board of Directors' Questionnaire for Candidates to the national CARH office.  The deadline for submission has been extended to the close of business, Friday, May 16, 2014. The completed questionnaire represents an expression of interest in a board position, and therefore, may serve as a substitute for a letter of interest.

CARH's nominating committee will recommend new directors after careful review of each questionnaire received. The nominating committee's recommendations will then be voted on at the general membership meeting during the Annual Meeting & Legislative Conference which will be held June 8-10, 2014. The June board of directors meeting, which takes place during this meeting, will be the first meeting the new board members should attend. Board terms are for two years and board members may serve two consecutive terms.
