1) CARH Announces 2015 Annual Meeting & Legislative Conference Brochure and Agenda
CARH is pleased to announce the full agenda for the 2015 Annual Meeting & Legislative Conference, which will be held from June 14-16 at the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City in Arlington, Virginia. You can also visit the CARH website, www.carh.org, to download the brochure.
As always, during the Annual Meeting, attendees will receive the most up-to-date regulatory and legislative news impacting the affordable rural housing industry. CARH has allotted time for attendees to meet with officials from key agencies and organizations and encourages attendees to schedule meetings with their individual members of Congress to discuss the vital issues impacting the industry. Ensuring that there is adequate funding for all affordable housing programs will be a priority on CARH’s legislative agenda.
Educational sessions will also be featured during the meeting. As you will see in the brochure, sessions include:

- Breaking News from Capitol Hill
- Developments in the World of Tax Credits
- Overview and Updates of Portfolio Management
- Technology Secrets: Using Technology to Increase Efficiency, Decrease Operating Costs and Increase Profits

Following the committee meetings, CARH’s Board of Directors will hold their meeting, at which the 2016-2016 Executive Officers and Directors will begin their terms.
Also during the meeting, the following special events will be held:

- Opening Reception at the Army and Navy Club (business attire required, men must where sports coats/suits)
- Congressional Luncheon – Insiders’ View
- Networking Reception & 18th Annual Live and Silent Auction
- Awards Breakfast (CARH’s Scholarship Foundation will present their 2015 Scholarship recipients and Rural Development will present their National Site Managers and Maintenance Person of the Year)
- Industry Trade Show with Exhibitors
2) Hotel Reservation Deadline and Discounted Meeting Registration Deadline May 22nd
In order to receive CARH’s special group rate of $256 per night (single or double occupancy) at the Ritz Carlton Pentagon City, attendees must make their reservations with the hotel no later than Friday, May 22, 2015. Strong attendance is expected at the meeting, so make your reservations as soon as possible. Call the hotel directly at 703-415-5000 and identify yourself as a CARH meeting attendee.
In addition, register now to take advantage of discounted registration rates! Simply complete the registration form and send payment to the CARH national office by close of business May 22, 2015. Registration rates go up May 23rd, so make sure you submit your form today! Click here to download the registration form.
