HUD’s Office of Multifamily Housing sent out the following information regarding the September 23 webinar regarding the Emergency Rental Assistance Program:

Treasury’s Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) program makes funding available to assist households that are unable to pay rent or utilities. ERA1 provides up to $25 billion under the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, and ERA2 provides up to $21.55 billion under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.

The webinar featured case studies of ERA grantees, community-based partners, and multifamily housing partners that have developed strong partnerships to more effectively and efficiently provide rental support to tenants.
