Rural Development: Off-Farm Labor Housing Repair Loan and Grant Workshop – Pre-Register for April 13th Event

On March 9, 2022, Rural Development published a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for subsequent Section 514 Off-Farm Labor Housing (Off-FLH) loans and subsequent Section 516 Off-FLH grants to improve, repair, or make modifications to existing Off-Farm Labor Housing Properties for fiscal year 2022. The program objective is to better administer repair funds in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner. Funds will be used to improve, repair, or make modifications to existing Off-FLH properties currently financed by the Rural Housing Service (RHS) that serve domestic farm laborers, retired domestic farm laborers, or disabled domestic farm laborers. Rural Housing Service will host a workshop for the Off-Farm Labor Housing Repair Loan and Grant program on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 1:00 PM Eastern Time to discuss the application process, the borrower’s responsibilities under the Off-FLH program, and other relevant topics.

Participants should pre-register for the session. A meeting confirmation notice will be emailed to all registrants with valid email addresses.
